Just a short drive from Stuart Manor, the Boiling Springs access point to the Appalachian Trail offers picturesque hikes around Children's Lake and through the surrounding woodlands. Boiling Springs village is a great place for hiking to Center Point Knob and back.

LeTort Spring Run Nature Trail

 Access points throughout Carlisle; main trailhead near LeTort Park, 260 E Pomfret St, Carlisle. A scenic trail following the LeTort Spring Run, ideal for walking, jogging, and birdwatching. The peaceful environment offers a quick nature escape within the town.

Lower Allen Community Park

A large 110‑acre park with a boat ramp, ample parking, restrooms, and picnic areas. You can paddle either upstream toward Mt. Holly Springs or downstream toward Sheepford Road.

Newville Rail Trail

The Newville Rail Trail, also known as the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail, is a scenic, family-friendly path perfect for walking, biking, and horseback riding. Stretching over 13 miles through the picturesque Cumberland Valley in south-central Pennsylvania, the trail follows the former rail bed of the Cumberland Valley Railroad.
