Historic Restoration of Stuart Manor

In 2016, Stuart Manor suffered a devastating fire that could have marked the end of its long legacy. Instead, it became the beginning of a remarkable chapter. Refusing to let history be lost, Russell and William embarked on an ambitious and meticulous restoration project, determined to rebuild the home with historical accuracy while blending in modern conveniences.  After a three-year restoration, they brought Stuart Manor back to life, honoring its 19th-century roots while updating it with modern amenities.

Russell, with his background in landscape design, water gardens, and hospitality, and William, having a keen interest in older homes and real estate, were the perfect team for the task. Their complementary skills, combined with their deep respect for the property's heritage, ensured that every room, fixture, and finish reflected the manor’s original character. Modern updates such as smart house technology, solar electric generation, high efficiency heating, and cooling are seamlessly integrated into the historic home.  In 2024, Stuart Manor was placed on the Cumberland County Historic Home Registry.
